Hmm. Sounds frustrating. I dislike emergency/trauma cases. But maybe that's just today's frustrations talking. I've got a dog that was hit by a car a week ago and now is vomiting, having trouble breathing, and shocky. Likely cause is crush injury to intestine that's now dying and/or leaking. But owners have no money for ultrasound or surgery. AND just got a cat in that was up a tree for 4 days. Owner tried to get her out and ended up knocking her out of the tree. Now she's got a collapsed lung. Sigh. I hope the tiger recovers.
