I've had only one pet who was chipped.
She ... well, she met the business end of an automobile.

Feel sorry for my dad - it was his automobile.
Then he had to tell his kid that he'd killed her cat.

Kinda moots the point about changing my address.
But if/when I ever get another fuzzy friend, I do intend to get it chipped.
