I'll be keeping the accountant who's worked for the clinic lo-these-many-years. I've already gotten a lawyer, I'm switching away from the one my boss used; personal preference, nothing bad about the prior guy. My lawyer is the one who did the closing work up for us. Don't have exactly an official bookkeeper, but do have someone coming in to do some bookwork and bills and such part time. I, unlike my burned out and now retiring boss, do not intend to come in 2 hours early to plow the parking lot, work 8 hours, then stay 2 hours late to do the books! f that noise, says I! :D

And on the topic of paying myself... well, oldboss has kinda been not paying himself sometimes. I don't plan to maintain that particular tradition. In support of that theory, I'm planning to consistently move prices upwards with inflation/cost of living, which he has not been doing. We're still gonna end up under-priced compared to other clinics, I'm sure, but at least that should make it possible to make payroll!
