OH MY GOD.

DO WANT.

I'll ship him. What's your address?

Hmm. Doggie to snuggle + divorce... or husband. Hmmm....

Can I bet back to you?

I suppose. Maybe you can convince him that it's the toughest pom ever, and you can keep his face shaved and put a pirate patch on him?

You have no idea how well that just might work...

And he is a pretty tough little dog. But... isn't it mean to ship them in a tiny crate for hours, all alone? Or is there a secret vet method?

Do try? I'm getting incredibly frustrated here--little dogs are supposed to be EASY to rehome.

I'm sure he won't particularly care for it. But people ship dogs all the time; we have one client that goes to France with her dog for several months every year.

It'd be spendy. You could fly out to get him and take him home carry-on if you wanted though :)

That might actually be better, especially if he does end up losing his remaining eye. I don't want to think about how I'd feel in a strange place, blind, in a confined space for hours... Not gonna do that. Even if he doesn't know me, my comfort might still be accepted if he were in a carrier. They still make him go in the baggage area though, I think. Bastards. I'd rather have dogs around me than more talking monkeys.

I will try. I'll see how much round-trip plane tickets are, too. Where's the nearest airport to you?

[identity profile] draggonlaady.livejournal.com 2008-09-25 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. if he's small enough to fit in a carrier that fits in the "carry-on bags must be smaller than this" box, they'll let you take them as carry on, and stow them under the seat. But you're not allowed to take them out of the carrier on the plane.

Stitches should come out of this eye saturday or sunday. will see how the eye looks then. he's pretty perky today, goes out to walk and as long he can hear me, he's fine.
