Kinda cool, but it's only an illusion. Kinda like comparing David Copperfield to Godzilla.

Sure it's an illusion. So? it still gives some pretty huge leads on how the body defines itself and how the brain perceives things. Might end up being nothing but an illusion. But, it might lead to full-sensation virtual reality programs, or might even be a step towards actual body swapping.

very cool! Seems farfetched to me that it could lead to actual body swapping, but just the leaps in human understanding are incredible.

What that article left out and I saw in another one the other day is they actually went a bit violent and cut at the mannequin with a knife. Odd test. I think it's fascinating what the brain can be fooled into.
