Placed Pippen in a new home Friday morning, and Friday afternoon got Tiny Tim.
Tiny Tim is in pretty rough shape. A young adult tom (about 9 months), he weighs less than 4 pounds. Too thin to stay warm in the cold weather, Tim was brought to rescue the day of a major snow storm. He has a severe upper respiratory infection, all the expected parasites, and an unexpectedly great attitude.
Even in his run-down condition, Tiny Tim is loving, rolling over to allow belly-rubbing and kneading at petting hands (carefully not using his claws). His purr is bigger than he is! He is totally unconcerned about the attentions of dogs, and seems neutral on the idea of other cats. I suspect he will be more playful with the other cats when he is feeling better.
We're hoping to find people interested in taking him on soon, though right now he's still needing quite a bit of care. Once he's back up to a more reasonable weight and we've got the upper respiratory infection under control, he'll be neutered and vaccinated. He is negative for feline leukemia.
