I didn't realize there was a market for commercial deer meat. Or elk for that matter. There's an elk farm not too far from here, and yet you never see elk at the grocery store. Well, at least I don't, but then I can't say I've ever really looked. I assume my digestive system would react the same to elk and deer meat at this point as it does to cow and pig meat. Which is to say badly. Very badly. So do they sell it in the stores? Or do they tend to run their own packing/sales departments on location?
