Shower

water falls swiftly           pours over me
    pounding my head         desperation, loneliness
    my shoulders             sorrow, resignation
drips
   off my face                 from my eyes
    from my hair              mixes with water
through my hands             falls silently
disappears
through a grate
a hole in the floor
