More happiness!
Dec. 16th, 2006 01:22 pmSo on the string of happy stories:
I love goats. If I had to pick on species to do repro stuff on, it would be goats. They're exactly the right size to work with. On that note, I saw a doe-goat this morning that was having difficulty kidding. On exam, the kid has one back foot and one front foot and the ears up in the canal. Obviously, this will not work. So much lube and some fairly annoyed bleating later, I pulled out an adorable doeling, that by all rights should have been dead by that point. But she wasn't! Dried and rubbed and generally annoyed the crap outta the little kid until she bleated and started trying to get away, and sent them both home alive and kicking.
Yay!
