So it's been pointed out to me that I haven't updated on my fosters yet.
Cisco's been adopted by a wonderful couple, but mostly the gentleman. It's very amusing to me, because Mister is this big, burly, shaved guy with a lot of large rings and a constant cigar--the sort of man you'd expect to be pummeling punks at a bar. And he took one look at Cisco, scooped him up, and started baby-talking to him and wouldn't put him down.
Sunshine (the dog who's leg I didn't cut off) seems to be improving slowly. Some infection issues, but no surprises there. She's still not using the leg, but the swelling is going down and she's much more active; able to get up on her other leg without help, eating better, and seems to be really bonding with one of our assistants, who may adopt her if she can talk her husband into it.
