The joys of technology

So the vet school gives all the 4th year students pagers, so they can get ahold of them for appointments and such. I don't really mind carrying an electric leash, cuz it means my friends can get me too. This week, they updated me to a pager that takes text messages too... again, that's fine. EXCEPT that I've now been getting fucking spam emails on my pager. Joy, yes?
