The weekend sucked. Non-stop emergencies, so much that we declined all appointments during office ours Saturday to work on juggling emergencies. I shan't belabor you with the details, but I am tired and sore and glad it's over.
Today was definitely a Monday. Someone brought us a stray bird. Also a box of kittens found under a bush at the end of a dead end road.

Anybody reading this want to transport my foster dog to a potential home in Canada?

box of kittens at the end of a road? That's a pretty lousy place to dump kittens. An intersection or parking lot would greatly increase thier chances of being found.

And sorry, got no plans to go to Canada.

Well, they got found. The problem isn't the location, the problem is that people are dipshits who toss animals out on the side of the road at all, instead of finding homes for them, or better yet, neutering the parents. There are several rescue groups in the area, if they couldn't be bothered to take the time to find individual homes, they could have called one of the rescues to take the kittens instead of dumping them, or taken them to the feed store or pet store to sell.

It would be nice. My last one-eyed bottle baby got adopted yesterday by a most wonderful person. Tomorrow I'm dropping another kitten (but not a bottle baby) off to have one eye removed, and the other one sewn shut for a few days, so hopefully he will end up a one-eyed kitten rather than a no-eyed kitten.

Even so, no. I do not need any more kittens. I've got my hands full with the current bottle baby batch, and I'm neck deep in them at work, as well.
