Why does the cat only get a "perhaps"?

Doesn't saving several people typically qualify a critter for hero-ness? (We're just assuming that saving people is a good thing here.)

Hero! If a dog had done it there would have been no 'perhaps'. Of course I view the mouse that burned down that guys house was as a hero too, it's just romantic in me.

well, i don't know that it was heroic to burn the house down. but i definitely thought it was appropriate.

As a representative of the Mousey Nation I speak for all mice when I say he was a hero, truly a mouse among mice. Fight fire with fire I always say, well sometimes I do :-D
