"Perhaps a cat that saved her family from a house fire on Monday night was a hero..."

Doesn't saving several people typically qualify a critter for hero-ness? (We're just assuming that saving people is a good thing here.)

I'd have to agree that she deserves much more than "perhaps." Hmm, wake up my owners, and potentially sacrifice myself in the process...think, think, think...what's a cat to do? Just more evidence that humans are selfish bastards.

Of course, it could be argued that she didn't care about the humans so much as the potential impairment of her food supply ;)

Perhaps the owners were running a meth lab, and perhaps the world is better off without them.

As long as we're perhapsing.

Yes, but what if there were two dozen Quebecois in the house being used as slave labor? Don't they count for something.

(I hope we're thinking of the same thing. Otherwise, that just made *no* sense.)

Ce que nous avons ici est défectueux au communcate.

sadly I had to Babel Fish that one, I think it's parced wrong too. alas my French sucks. Oddly enough on my last trip to Montreal, I spent a week and a half there, when I got to Boston from there I couldn't understand a word anyone was saying, and the I realised it was because they were speaking English. LOL

Hero! If a dog had done it there would have been no 'perhaps'. Of course I view the mouse that burned down that guys house was as a hero too, it's just romantic in me.

well, i don't know that it was heroic to burn the house down. but i definitely thought it was appropriate.

As a representative of the Mousey Nation I speak for all mice when I say he was a hero, truly a mouse among mice. Fight fire with fire I always say, well sometimes I do :-D
