I am back. For those of you who don't know, I spent the last 10 days in Hot-lanta. My bestest friend is now a Mrs. I wore a pretty dress and carried flowers. That makes my 4th stint as a bridesmaid.

Despite all the screaming and moaning on the news, my total security check-through time (including being "selected for additional screening") was 8 minutes on the flight from Spokane to Atlanta the day after the huge no-liquids-or-gels-of-any-kind scare. My main complaint about the travel was acutally how much my fellow passengers complained about trivial things.

Besides the whole Jes-in-a-dress routine, I got to spend a lot of time with my Bear, and do fun tourist-y things like watch Midsummer Nights Dream and MacBeth at the Shakespeare tavern. (This bard's for you!)

just saw him yesterday. he is still not eating on his own--has a feeding tube in so the owner can feed him and give his meds that way. but he's started walking on his remaining leg...not very far yet, but at least to the box and back to bed.
