By Request: The Next Rant
Feb. 24th, 2004 06:45 pmSo I posted in mid-January that the Association of Veterinarians for Animal Rights had finally gotten around to acknowledging that WSU's College of Veterinary Medicine had eliminated terminal procedures from core classes. But apparently the writers at AVAR don't read their own publications, as the most recent Alternatives again says that WSU performs terminal procedures.
Their "Comparison of Alternatives Offered by Veterinary Schools" is based on information gathered in 1999, and although they claim to have altered it with "updates received thereafter", it seems there's reason to doubt the accuracy and currency of their information.
No wonder people are confused about what we're doing!
