Update on the updates.

draggonlaadyAmputee kitty came in today for a photo shoot, he's looking GREAT. Skinless area is about half the size it was last month, healing much faster than i expected.
Distemper puppy's procrastinating owners finally called back. Seems puppy hadn't eaten anything for the last 4 fucking days and they hadn't gotten around to calling. Grrrr. Long story short, she was getting worse and we ended up putting her down today.
And a new one for you all to cross your fingers for--the 5 minutes before closing emergency tonight was a sweet little lab mix dog with an arrow run through her. By miracle or luck, it went in the neck and back and up, arrow head ended up above her last ribs, without actually entering the lung field or whacking open her jugular or carotid on the way by. So we removed the arrow and started her on heavy-duty antibiotics and anti-inflamatories. Send good vibes.
