People who can say in all seriousness that the Bible is the entirely accurate and literal word of God (despite all the really obvious parables) and that there is no mention of evolution, therefore evolution didn't happen. And yet, in Leviticus 11, it clearly states that camels have a solid (non-cloven) foot. Soooo.... is the Bible mistaken, and therefore not the infallible source of all knowledge they claim, or have camels changed from the beginning times until now? One of the two must be true....

4Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

Headline: "Franck's Pharmacy voluntarily stops veterinary medicine compounding"
Subline: Compounding ceased after FDA filed Federal Injunction.

Sooooo.... did the definition of voluntary change when I wasn't looking? Pretty sure that when you have a federal agency shaking a big authoritative finger and saying "Thou shalt not" it doesn't count as voluntary.

We have pretty spotty internet at work. The other day, I got a failure message when trying to open a page. Popped up an error reporting program that Windows wanted me to join. One of the options was, of course, "more information about this program." Which tried to open a webpage. But couldn't. Because the internet wouldn't work. Which is why it popped up the option for the program in the first place.

Saw a pick-up truck yesterday, pulling a large 5th wheel flat trailer. The kind that makes my dad's trailer for hauling tractors look puny. Strapped securely on the trailer was... a canopy. Of the sort, of course, that fits nicely on the back of a pick-up.

There are 2 signs immediately adjacent at an intersection in town. One says "Pet Store 10 blocks" and the other "Fluffy Cuts Grooming 11 blocks." This is fascinating, since both businesses are in the same (very small) building.
