Supposed to be 4-8 inches in the valleys and 6-10 inches on the mountains Spokane area Tuesday night. Bundle up, kids.

In only vaguely related news (because it's too cold to do anything outside!), here's what I did this weekend:

This one's a commission for a 4 year old who loves yarn, buttons, stitching, and favorite colors are pink and purple. No, I didn't actually sew the buttons on, they're threaded and knotted and then glued.

Partially done knocking the snow off of my truck this morning:

Friday started with freezing rain, which progressed to snow about noon. 6" of snow on top of the frozen rain later, the clouds blew off and the temperature REALLY started down. By Sunday, it was 16F in the sun. Dropped almost immediately to 8F when the sun went down. By this morning, it was -9F (that's about -22C for you Celsius users). And then the wind started blowing.

Fire is definitely my friend. It's very good that Bruce is such a lovely space heater.
